FAQs for schools considering joining the LSGO of Ohio:
What do we need to do to become a Participating School?
LSGO of Ohio Director Josh Malave will guide your school through the simple process of becoming a Participating School. Contact Josh at jmalave@clhsa.org to begin the conversation.
How will we get donations?
The LSGO of Ohio provides best practices, marketing materials, and guidance for all Participating Schools. We recommend that each school appoints a “champion.” This is someone in the school and/or church community who will spearhead the communication, promotion, and awareness of the program within the community. Additionally, the LSGO of Ohio manages the gift collection and processing for each Participating School. Donated funds designated for your school are put into a dedicated account to be awarded to families at your school.
Who allocates the scholarship funds?
The LSGO of Ohio’s Board of Directors allocates the funds designated for your school to families who complete a scholarship application. LSGO of Ohio funds raised must, by law, be prioritized for students from low-income households.
